Selah Bible Institute(SBI) is a school of the Bible for Christians who want to change the world. The basic human right of every nation or people group is for the Word of God to be accessible to every household and to each individual. Christians who study the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to remold them through that Wofd become world-changers. They actually do the Word, and Christ is glorified among the nations.

All who teach and all who study in SBI rely solely on the Holy Spirit, who is the author and interpreter of Scripture. God tells us that the Holy Spirit will “teach us all things”(1 John 2:27). SBI enables students to study the Bible under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit, through experienced teacher, for the purpose of understanding the Bible, learning how to read, study and meditate on the Bible, and how to apply the Word to their lives through listening to and obeying God. SBI approaches the Bible through three steps:

1. Observation: What does the Bible actually says?
2. Interpretation: What does the Bible mean, to the original readers and to those who read it today?
3. Application: How can we apply the Biblical teachings to our daily lives?

SBI is a two-year of study. Individual books of the Bible will be taught as units. Each unit will be a 3-5day intensive lesson. Each lesson will be three(3) hours in length. An “open book” examination will follow each course, so that the student may review all that he has studied and make application of the truth to his own life. The exam will be given out on the last day of class and is to be returned three(3) weeks after the end of class.
Student are required to read through the selected book three(3) times before the first class.
The two-year course of study will be followed by a one to two week outreach. Students will have the opportunity to teach what they have learned, as they disciple the nations throught the Word of God.
A Certificate will be given upon successful completion of each unit. A diploma will be issued for the successful completion of the 2-year program, including outreach.

SBI is not a YWAM second school. So anyone who wants to study bible and have a intimate relationship with God can join this course freely.

SBI is a Bilingual School. Students may study in SBI in either the English or Korean language. Classes will be taught bilingually, in both English and Korean

The cost is $50 per unit.

All classes will be taught at a convenient location in the Seattle area.
